"Let's get cancer, Mario..."
Big Bob is Mario's 7th and final band member in Book of Mario: Thousands of Doors. He was married to Scarlette until her death, in a backstory so convoluted it gave Carbon depression. Since he's a Bob-sha, he can use his exploding powers to create passages to Mario.
After requesting for a Chuckola Dance, Mario and Flavio attempt to cut Bob's throat. He does not appear to have a problem with this and agrees to accompany Mario on his journey.
History[]
Many years before the events in the game, Bob was a famous adventurer. He later became disenchanted with this hobby and became a sailor.
One fateful day, Bob discovered Boat Rent during one of his boat trips and started a sexual relationship with Cortze. Bob, who didn't want to accept the fact that Scarlette's death was his fault, returned to Rougue Harbor. In his trauma he wrote a letter to himself and signed it with "Scarlette", spread many different rumors about Scarlette's death, and even started to believe a few of them, deciding to never enter a ship again. He was also apparently under threat of the death penalty.
Many years passed, Bob became senile and forgot about Cortze and the island until Mario gave him his fake letter.
In the epilogue, Bob and Cortze get back together, much to Scarlette's dismay.
Personality[]
He immediately clashes with Yoshi Kid, dismissing him out of hand as a sad kid who means nothing to him. He is also senile, constantly referring to Mario as "old man" despite his relative age. At the end of the game, he appears to have become suicidal.
Attacks[]
Bob can use 4 Assaults in battle:
- Pump (0 FP): "Attacks enemy land with an explosion."
- Bomb Gang (3 FP): "Spend three bombs, then turn over."
- Stay (4 FP): "Which is the most direct attack of the enemy, Bobberion malicious."
- Bob (9 FP): "Attack all enemies with a big bang."
- Out of all theese attacks, Pump would have to be the strongest, due to the ability to attack enemy land with a explosion, which means it can work on the moon, as long as it's enemy land. But the shell and hammer hammer can be better in some cases. Bob can be better somtimes due to attacking all enemies with a big bang, meaning it can also work on the moon, but it attacks with a big bang, unknown if it does damage or not.

- Bob dreams about Yobie boobs. Who or what Yobie is was never specified.
- He appears to hate people of Irish origin after calling Mr. Krump an "Irish dirty".
- In Sheltered Residence, Bob refers to Belda as his "dear wife". He also thinks Representative is a killer whale.
- In Book of Mario 64, there is a Frog in Frog City who mentions Bob’s slaves.
- Bobby is also the nickname of a Bob-omb partner in Paper Mario: The Origami King.
